Freelancer Tips for Beginners

Hi everyone. So this would be my first post. Let me introduce myself.

Hi! My name is May Ann Anorico. I am a Stay-At-Home-Mom (SAHM) seeking an opportunity online
for me to help provide my family. I graduated from AMA Computer University Bachelor of Science in
Computer Engineering Batch 2009. After graduation, I worked as a Sales Marketing before in an IT
Company namely Egghead System where they sell Software System like Anti Virus in various
company like Call Centers.

I am married with two children. After marriage, I had to quit my job for me to focus on my kids.

Now that they were both studying in a private school, I thought that maybe this would be a great
opportunity to find a new career where I can grow my skills and at the same time, my passion.

Here are the reason why I choose freelancing:

1. Traffic
Hates the traffic. I don’t want to waste my time on traffic hours instead of taking care of or
bond with my children. Beside, I still need to stay at home, don't I?

2. I can work anytime, anywhere
Talking about flexibility. I am a stay at home mom. I can choose the time of work in my own
pace.

3. Greater earning potential
Who would have thought that you can earn big when you become freelancer? Nowadays, the best
market place is the social media, right? A lot of people are now using or browsing in social media.
When you are a business minded person, all you can think of is that Social Media is the best place
to market products and services.

Now that I have shared to you my top 3 reasons why I choose freelancing, let me share to you the
Freelancing Tips before you decide or before you can start from Freelancing Career.

Freelancing Tips

1. Choose your niche.
Of course you had to choose your niche. It's either Data Entry, Transcription, Researcher,
and so forth.

2. Focus.
Focus on your Goal. Improve your skills.

3. Showcase your work.
To attract the client, you have to showcase your work or make at least 3 to 4 portfolios.
